1. Who can use Showup
You must be at least 18 years old. You're responsible for your account and for what you post.
2. Acceptable use
A Crew is a private group of people who know each other. Don't use Showup to:
- harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone;
- post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content;
- post Session Photos of people who haven't agreed to be photographed, or of anyone under 18;
- impersonate others, spam, or try to access Crews or data that aren't yours;
- interfere with or try to break the service's security.
3. Zero tolerance for abuse
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can block anyone in your Crews and report members and Session Photos from within the app, and you can report any Consequence to us. We review reports and may take appropriate action, such as removing content or suspending an account.
4. Consequences
A Crew can turn on Consequences for a Plan. When someone misses a Session, members may propose a small, friendly Consequence, for example leading the next warm-up or bringing snacks. By using Consequences you agree that:
- Consequences are decided by your Crew, not by Showup. A proposal only becomes active when another member confirms it.
- They must never involve money, wagers, gambling, or anything of monetary value.
- They must never be illegal, sexual, abusive, humiliating, degrading or dangerous, or put anyone's health or safety at risk.
- You can report any Consequence you think is unsafe or inappropriate by emailing business@afrozbuilds.online, and we may remove it.
- The Plan's creator or the Crew owner can waive a Consequence, and a waived Consequence is final.
- Consequences are voluntary and social only. They create no financial or legal obligation, and no one can be made to carry one out.
5. Content and account removal
You keep ownership of what you post and give us the permission needed to store it and show it to your Crew. We may remove any content and suspend or delete any account that breaks these terms, with or without notice. Crew owners can remove Session Photos and members from their Crew.
6. Reminders are best effort, not an alarm
Reminders and notifications are provided on a best-effort basis. Delivery depends on your device, battery settings, operating system and network and is not guaranteed. Showup is not an alarm clock or a safety tool. Don't rely on it for anything important or time-critical.
7. I’m Here check-ins and stats
I’m Here check-ins, show-up rates and streaks are for fun and friendly accountability. They are self-reported and not verified.
8. Plans are between friends
Showup helps you organise Plans; it doesn't run them. You're responsible for your own safety and for any costs or arrangements with your Crew.
9. The service
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. We may change or discontinue features.
10. Ending
You can stop using Showup and delete your account at any time.
